When someone wants to promote something on the internet, one thing they can do is to put ads on other websites such as banner ads or classified ads. In order to send quality traffic to the advertisers websites, the ads should be related to the topic of the websites. Google use a very smart system that scan keywords through the pages of the publishers websites, and then decide which ads should show , depending on the keywords found. For example, the site www.needed-info.com/quit-smoking/ that have articles about how to quit smoking, will show ads that are related to the term 'quit smoking'. The website owner will then earn some money when visitor click on any of the Google Adsense links.
